About Sara Elizabeth Artistry

Hello everyone! My name is Sara Elizabeth Roper, the lead hair & makeup artist and founder of Sara Elizabeth Artistry. I’m an Alabama native, and a single mom to my sweet son and our two cuddly cats!

After attaining my nursing degree in 2015, my passion for doing hair and makeup presented an entrepreneurial opportunity that became the most rewarding career I could ask for. After feeling the honor it was to be part of so many folk’s special occasions, I was convinced this was my path forward. I dove right in and launched my business in 2021!

For the last three years now, SEA has been operating full-time out of my studio located in Hoover, Alabama. Services include hair (up/down/half dos, ponies, and blowouts) and makeup (dermaplaning and eyebrow grooming) for weddings, commercial photoshoots, family portraits, professional headshots, senior portraits, one-on-one makeup lessons, and more!
